Parsons Dance Company Los Angeles Theatre reviews
I was blazed and confused, more confused though
"This was my second time at Red Rocks seeing Parsons Dance Company, last time in 08 with Pepper. The lineup seemed a bit odd from the beginning. Beardo, a strange individual, was the first to perform, and his music was horrendous. He is quite eccentric. Following him was Mickey Avalone, and I was left feeling miserable, his music was terrible. These two opening acts were disappointing. Stephen Marley then took the stage and delivered an amazing performance. Snoopdog appeared next. Although I'm not a fan of his music, it was evident that he gave a decent performance, although it was longer than I would have preferred. Stoopid's set was enjoyable, featuring songs like This Joint, Closer to the Sun, Collie Man, Till it gets Wet, and more. Towards the end, Beardo returned and played a solo that would make any guitarist lose faith in humanity. It consisted of just one note, very serious. Mickey Avalone then came back, acknowledging Beardo, Parsons Dance Company, and himself. What happened to Snoop and Stephen? It's worth noting that Mickey is also quite flamboyant. Overall, it was a decent show, but the experience was somewhat marred by Mickey and Beardo."
